After-School Education & Safety Program (ASES)

The After School Education and Safety program (ASES) seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our most important resource—children. We provide enhanced learning experiences and numerous enrichment opportunities in a safe, supervised environment.

Program Components

Education and Literacy
We provide tutoring or homework assistance for language arts, mathematics, history and social sciences, and science to support our core curriculum and state standards. Reading and math skill development remains our primary focus as we work to improve testing scores district-wide.

Enrichment
Enrichment activities include recreation and youth development. Students may have opportunities to participate in the arts, music, sports, career preparation activities, conflict resolution training, community service, and other activities based on student needs and interests.
