Greetings Badger Parents and Staff

We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share with you a little about our Parent, Teacher, Student Organization. The purpose of our organization is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs, to promote open communication between administration, teachers and parents and to encourage school spirit and pride.

Our PTSO funds and sponsors numerous class trips, assemblies and improvements to our school through a variety of fundraisers. We also purchase items our teachers need for a successful year when district funds fall short. As you probably know, it takes many hands and minds to support these programs and activities. We Want Your Help! Working together, we can truly make a difference at the school and in the lives of our children.

An effective and successful PTSO requires support and involvement from the teachers and parents of our students. It is vital! YOU, the parents, are the voice, and we NEED to hear from you!

Many parents feel that they cannot participate in the PTSO because they cannot attend meetings or be at school during the day. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours in or outside of school hours, your ideas, your time, and your talents are truly needed and your involvement will be greatly appreciated. There are endless possibilities in ways you can help. Research shows that students whose parents are involved in school activities have better grades and fewer discipline problems. We promise that the time you give to the PTSO and the school will be worth your while—and fun! Please consider volunteering, it really does make a difference in the lives of all our children!

Please contact us anytime about PTSO events and activities. We are here to assist you in any way that we can. We hold this opportunity in high regard and look forward to meeting and working with each of you! Please contact the school at 661-248-6680.
