PTSO

It takes many hands and minds to support the programs and activities offered at El Tejon Middle School. An effective and successful PTSO requires support and involvement from the teachers and parents of our students. It is vital! You are our voice, and we need to hear from you!

Purpose

The purpose of our Parent, Teacher, Student Organization (PTSO) is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs; to promote open communication between administration, teachers, and parents; and to encourage school spirit and pride.

What We Do

Our PTSO sponsors numerous class trips, assemblies, and improvements to our school through a variety of fundraisers. We also purchase items our teachers need for a successful year when district funds fall short.

We Need You!

Did you know research shows that students whose parents are involved in school activities have better grades and fewer discipline problems? We promise that the time you give to the PTSO and school will be worth your while—and fun!

How to Help

Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, we truly need your ideas, your time, and your talents, and we sincerely appreciate your involvement (both within or outside school hours). There are endless ways you can help.

Please contact the school at 661-248-6680 to learn more.
